Allen’s practice focuses primarily on the areas of commercial real estate, business litigation, business transactions and business licensing.

Allen’s real estate practice involves all aspects of real estate law including, acquisitions and dispositions, development, leasing, financing, construction, condominium and common interest communities, and real estate related environmental matters. He also works in the area of nonperforming loans, loan workout, foreclosure, and receivership.

Allen also has a broad range of experience representing clients in a variety of real estate and commercial disputes in both state and federal court. He litigates business and real estate matters statewide, including defense of FDIC actions, partnership and corporate dissolution, landlord/tenant receivership and other business and commercial disputes.

Allen brings substantial real estate business experience as a broker, developer and commercial property owner and manager that gives him practical insight into his representation of clients in real estate matters. He has successfully negotiated various complex issues in connection with major residential and commercial real estate projects; has represented borrowers and lenders in connection with acquisition, construction and permanent multi-million dollar financing; and has represented a variety of national and regional landlords and tenants in connection with the leasing of retail, office and other commercial premises.

Allen regularly provides advice to new and existing business owners including organizing, establishing and operating business entities together with business licensing including liquor licensing.

Allen received his J.D. California Western School of Law and his B.S. from Penn State University. He currently serves as a board member and legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas. Prior to attending law school Allen worked as the Environmental Coordinator for mining company with responsibility for environmental compliance of various mining projects in the Western United States.
